Joshua A. Hyman, Esquire
Joshua A. Hyman specializes in representing and advocating for seriously injured individuals. Josh’s practice areas include motor vehicle crashes, slip/trip and falls, dog bites, work injuries, assaults, and construction accidents. Since joining the Law Offices of Samuel Fishman in 2019, Josh has successfully litigated dozens of cases. In 2020, Josh was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® Rising Star. The Rising Stars selection process takes into account peer recognition, professional achievement in legal practice, and other cogent factors. The Rising Stars list recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in each state. To be eligible for inclusion in Rising Stars, a candidate must be either 40 years old or younger, or in practice for 10 years or less.
Josh obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University – Bloomington where he was on the Dean’s List and studied Political Science and History. Josh earned his law degree at Temple University Beasley School of Law while on a Law Faculty Merit Scholarship. During his time in law school, Josh completed Temple’s nationally acclaimed year-long Integrated Trial Advocacy Program, served as the Vice President of the Jewish Law Student Association, and worked for the Defender Association of Philadelphia; advocating on behalf of indigent criminal defendants before judges, trial commissioners, and bail commissioners. Josh was named a Rubin Public Interest Law Honor Society Fellow for his dedication to public service.
Josh serves as an arbitrator and Judge Pro Tem for the Court of Common Pleas in Philadelphia County. Josh has also been a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Philadelphia Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Justice.
